Ceramic Picture Tiles

This stunning collection of decorative ceramic picture tiles have been inspired by diverse, exciting artwork and have either been painstakingly reproduced by hand by specialist ceramic artisans, or directly printed with UV Printing technology to preserve absolute accuracy and colour.

The hand-painted tiles have been recreated using a clay pipette to create texture and raised definition, before the rest is completed with bright and vibrant enamel glazes. These glazes only develop once they have been fired at over 1050° for 30 hours in a kiln. The result is a piece of art with beautiful rich colours and with a high gloss, glass like finish. They are both light and steam resistant, which ensures both the vibrancy and finish stay perfect for kitchens and conservatories, even when displayed in direct sunlight. They can stand alone, with their pull out stands, be hung on the wall with their chrome hooks, or their backing can be soaked off to be embedded into a tiled display.

The Printed Ceramic Tiles showcase a large collection of artwork & feature many British Artists. They are UV Printed and hand-finished here in the UK, to offer a vibrancy and depth that may be displayed in direct sunlight without ever fading. Each of the tiles are direct reproductions from the original painting, supporting both celebrated, renowned artists and those up and coming, whose artwork may not have been seen on any commercial products before. Every piece sold pays a commission to the artist. The 20cm by 2ocm tiles and the 20cm by 30cm Landscape tiles have both a hanging hook and a pull out stand, while the 30cm by 20cm pieces are just for hanging.
